Howdy Folks,

This deck is my twist on Samut, Voice of Dissent.

My MTG debut was Amonkhet. My very first deck was the precon Gideon, Martial Paragon deck. Thus, exert was the first unique mechanic that I explored. No one else in my playgroup liked the mechanic, but for whatever reason, I latched onto it.

My boros deck explores it as well, but this EDH deck will also explore utilizing Exert to its fullest of my budget capabilities. Here is the link to my Modern Boros version. Boros Exerted, but can't stay Tapped!

I adore Samut, but gosh does she get table hate fast. Currently most of my pillow-fort or political "attack other people" cards are in my Gahiji, Honored One and Karona, False God decks. So for now, this is almost a pure smash face deck.
