This is an older deck that I've recently revamped with newer cards. It goes off the premise of a high CMC creature base, and use of Green and Artifacts to quicken the creatures casting.

Artifact Explaining
Aether Vial If you can get it out early enough, you can get some definite creatures out of it.
Feldon's Cane If something causes you to dump from hand or library, or sacrifice you can still have a chance to get it back.
Sorcery and Instant Explaining
Defy Death If you have to dump good cards you can get them back for even less than cast cost.
Revoke Existence Say someone uses Oblivion Ring you can get back you're creature. Or use it for other removal, like if someone else has Worship.

Allows you to get more lands out.
Non-Obvious Creature Explaining
Nyx-Fleece Ram Big toughness, low cost, life gain, allows you to delay damage to face until you can get out your own big creatures.
Transcendent Master A 3/3 for 3 CMC is okay value, but with potential to upgrade, without need for a huge land base you have a good addition.
Burnished Hart Another way to increase mana, and it's expenditure.
