Sideboard

Maybeboard

R/W Human deck that casts cheap Humans that can stay around long enough to flicker/blink Kessig Malcontents with Cloudshift, Restoration Angel, and Conjurer's Closet.

The Angels are there to combat any flying threats that Fiend Hunter doesn't exile upon entering the battlefield or that can't be killed with Brimstone Volley. Restoration Angel helps Kessig Malcontents while Angelic Overseer serves as a bomb being indestructible and hexproof.

Zealous Conscripts takes control of anything too powerful to handle otherwise, including Planeswalkers.

Sideboard:

War Priest of Thune and Vandalblast are to eliminate enchantments/artifacts

Mizzium Mortars is for tokens/ junk.

Ash Zealot is for zombie decks or flashback.

Riders of Gavony gives most of my creatures protection from tribal decks.

Intrepid Hero is more removal for larger creatures that people wouldn't expect.

Took this deck to FNM and went 2-0-1 which was good enough for second place.

Match 1 was against an Izzet deck that used Delver of Secrets  Flip and Augur of Bolas with Guttersnipe. I won game 1 with speed and using Cloudshift on Kessig Malcontents a few times but it was close. Game 2 went his way after I played a hand I probably shouldn't have and his Delver of Secrets  Flip went unchallenged after he countered a Fiend Hunter I used to try and remove Delver. Game 3 went down to the wire but I was patient and blinked Kessig with a Restoration Angel on his turn that took him by surprise. 2-1

Match 2 was against an Esper deck of sorts, not really sure what to call it. Game 1 I lost despite stealing his Sorin, Lord of Innistrad with my Zealous Conscripts and using the ultimate on my turn to basically wipe his board. He board wiped me at least twice, once with Supreme Verdict and once with Terminus which hurt once he brought out Geist of Saint Taft. Game 2 went my way after I tried to be more aggressive and stole his Tamiyo, the Moon Sage with Zealous Conscripts to draw some cards and Cloudshift for the win. In game 2 he board wiped again with Supreme Verdict at least once and countered all of my Cloudshifts except for the last one which won me the game. Game 3 never happened due to time so we ended up tying 1-1. The board wipes really slowed the games down.

Match 3 was against a pretty straightforward Rakdos deck with Rakdos Cackler, Gore-House Chainwalker, Geralf's Messenger, and what seemed like tons of Searing Spears. I basically out aggro'd him and won two games fairly quickly to go 2-0.

Overall on the night I went 4-2-1 to have a match record of 2-0-1 which was good enough for second place and some store credit so I felt it went rather well for my first FNM.
