Another shot at B/G Delirium

Modern

Sideboard

So.... I loved delirium when it was in standard (before the emrakul ban) and have seen some modern decks be successful in BG or BUG. The old standard player in me though couldn't reconcile with some of the card selection used, especially in the BG build. I have attempted to put together a BG build which I would love to work to refine so it can do some damage in FNM. Below is a synopsis of the cards in the deck and my rationale why (some are obvious).

CREATURES:

Grim Flayer - One of the best 2 drops in any delirium deck in my opinion. Helps ya get to delirium quickly and if drawn later in the game ya have a 4/4 body for 2 mana.

Tarmogoyf - Another monster 2 drop that can get really big, really fast and has to be dealt with by opponent quickly.

Scavenging Ooze - Another nice body to help ping away opponent key graveyard content (or use excess of my own). Little life gain and can serve as a blocker or aggressor depending on matchup.

Courser of Kruphix - A great blocker and helps against aggro matchups. The life gain and mini ramp sure doesn't hurt given this build runs 23 lands.

Reality Smasher - I went back and forth on this or a thought-knot and given the land base and the current hand disruption package, I like this as a backup to Emrakul. Has indirect hand disruption if someone wants to remove it and the trample haste on a 5/5 is so sweet to help overtake small ground fodder.

Emrakul, the Promised End - In my opinion you can't have a delirium deck without including at least a 1 of this momma.

SPELLS:

Abrupt Decay, Fatal Push, Dead Weight, Dismember, Eyeblight's Ending = Removal package, like adding dead weight (something missing in other modern delirium builds) to help hit delirium faster and eyeblight for tribal bonus to # of card types.

Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek = slow down opponent, break up combo or get rid of other stuff like graveyard hate.

Grapple with the Past - Get delirium online and bring back key creatures from the yard as needed. Debating on making this a 3 of instead of just 2 copies, don't know what to cut for it though.

Traverse the Ulvenwald - quintessential tutor card for this deck. Emrakul bait :)

Mishra's Bauble - easy artifact add for draw plus costs nada.

Autumnal Gloom   - A fun card to increase the # of enchantments in the deck while helping provide another body that is big and hard to deal with.

Liliana, the Last Hope - The planeswalker to have in this deck. I would like to also have Liliana of the Veil but not sure how best to make room for her.

LAND BASE:

Ghost Quarter to help deal with key aspects of opponent land base (tron, valukuts etc...)

Eldrazi Temple to get out big bodies faster.

Rest of the lands I think are pretty standard issue for a BG build. If you think other lands should be added/swapped I'm happy to hear input.

The sideboard and maybe board are all brainstorming ideas at this point in terms of what to have in the sideboard and what #'s of cards to include so suggestions very much welcome there too!

So, there ya have it! I hope you +1 if you like it and I love feedback and other ideas you think would be a good fit for this version of BG modern delirium!

Thanks for your votes and feedback!!
