After playing hundreds of matches with Arcades I figured Id finally create an account and post him. I mostly played online against a great variety of decks in 4 player. The build isn't meant for any one type of playgroup and is very generic.

The main things Ive found playing with Arcades is that not having many defenders over 2cmc and that being able to cast Arcades or High Alert/Assault Formation is key (obviously). I like to keep at least 1/3 of the deck defenders with 1/4 of the deck being defenders under 3cmc. Tutoring for HA/AF is also smart. This helps with not needing an insane amount of mana to cast Arcades repeatedly. Since I'm already putting in a bunch of enchant tutors I like to have good enchants for removal that I can also use the tutors for. Hall of Heliod's Generosity then becomes a must if it wasn't already. Recurring removal on top of HA/AF is a nice bonus. So nice that it makes land tutors worth it. The sideboard is mainly cards I like to use or are worth using to help with the decks main theme, which is getting out as many defenders as possible and Arcades/HA/AF consistently. The maybe-board has good alternatives to what I'm currently using and also a list of cards that I consider too competitive and no fun. So cards like the ones under the Blacklisted category I'm not interested in. The decks main weakness is not much great mana ramp, but its built to not need insane mana and to use those slots instead for something else.

Main-boarded cards I'd consider switching out are...

• Steel Wall; 1 colorless cmc shouldn't be underestimated. But still lackluster.
• Excavated Wall; same as Steel Wall.
• Wall of Tears; added removal is redundant when nobody attacks a wall army. But its the only added removal one in the deck right now.
• Ulvenwald Captive  ; the 2 toughness stinks and i've taken it out before, But the mana ramp is nice.
• Tower Defense; the 5 toughness is why most use it, but the reach with it is the only reason I keep it.
• Fierce Guardianship; Super good instant, but maybe find something more akin the the deck theme.
• Flawless Maneuver; Super good instant, but maybe find something more akin the the deck theme.
• Heroic Intervention; Super good instant, but I hate having to save mana.
• Gift of Immortality; Not always excited to see it, but its the best protection that I can fetch with the tutors and Hall of Heliod's Generosity.
• Austere Command; 6cmc can be spendy.
• Plea for Guidance; 6cmc can be spendy.
• Bring to Light; only fetches instant/sorcery, but can cast Cyclonic Rift w/ overload. Hard to part with.
