This was my very first Commander deck.

I fell in love with Arcades, the Strategist as soon as I saw the spoiler. Aggro and control are my favorites archetypes within Magic. So I builted this Wall Tribe Deck, but I upgraded since the first list.

Now you can win by smashing your opponents with creatures with huge butts like Wall of Denial or Tree of Redemption, add a few things like vigilance from Brave the Sands or Oathsworn Giant, some anthem strategy with Stalwart Shield-Bearers and give your creatures unblockable with Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive. If your opponents cast huge creatures to block yours, don't worry. This deck is full of one sided board wipes like Dusk / Dawn or Wave of Reckoning, but the best one is probably Elspeth, Sun's Champion, she not only clears the table from your opponents threatening creatures and leave yours, Arcades included, but since your creatures stay on the battlefield, they can protect her from your opponent's attacks to wipe the board another time. That's a very cool way to pilot the deck and totally fun. Trust me.

But there is another win condition within this deck. It's not as good as other combos like Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion/Walking Ballista, but you can combo off in turn three with the perfect hand to start the game. The combo uses Axebane Guardian as the main piece. You use Axebane to generate infinite mana with the untap ability from Freed from the Real, Gauntlets of Light or High Alert, once you created infinite mana, you can bounce every permanent your opponents control back to their hands with Capsize then proceed to smash theirs faces, or you can make then draw 350 cards with Blue Sun's Zenith, or even mill then with Doorkeeper, but in this last case you have to be using High Alert, so it can untap the Keeper.

Other cards like Brago, King Eternal may look strange in a Wall Tribe deck, but since Arcade's ability to draw triggers when a creature with defender enters the battlefield, the blinking ability from Brago is very well appreciated and put to good use, drawing tons of cards. Another great value card is Descendant of Soramaro that you can use to manipulate your draws and get the right cards you want or need.

This is my favorite deck to play with and very consistent. Feel free to leave a suggestion, comentary and to ake your own version inspired by my list. To objective of commander is to have fun. Enjoy.
