As a disclaimer, this deck performs pretty horrendously. It really disappoints me that they brought back a mechanic I enjoy so much, but made it even less viable than Assault Formation . There are certain deck types that this does well against. Any other midrange, and guildgate decks for example, but the problem is that there is simply too much enchantment removal that sees mainboard play in standard at the moment. I have no idea why they didn't give this card hexproof, or some kind of recursion/protection or anything at all. If you're playing against control, may as well give up immediately. Hopefully they fix it with the next set. I'm fairly certain this is the best build for the deck currently.

Pretty straight forward. Arcades, the Strategist and High Alert allow your walls to attack.

Shimmer of Possibility to help search for either of the combo cards.

Slaughter the Strong , Ixalan's Binding , and Deputy of Detention are awesome stall/removal if you end up waiting to find your combo pieces.

Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Dive Down for protection.

Hadana's Climb   can end the game once it's transformed, and can also make it so that your walls aren't entirely useless while waiting for you combo cards.
