BACKGROUND: Derevi was one of my earliest commander decks back in 2012 when the precons first came out. The stock list was a sort of disjointed mess (all of them were to be honest) but with some upgrades the commander proved to be incredible. The ability to always have your commander on hand for just 4 mana uncounterable at instant speed w/ ETB is straight value. Being one of my oldest EDH decks makes this also one of my favorites.

STRATEGY: This deck aims to abuse tap and untap triggers. You go wide with tokens, then stack up multiple triggers on payoff cards to generate massive value. You can also use the triggers as sort of as pseudo vigilance, allowing for safe attacking w/o crack back. Otherwise it operates similar to any well rounded deck, with removal, counters, wipes, etc. No infinite combos, but there are some cool tricks like Strixhaven Stadium which one shots if you have enough triggers. One of the more rewarding decks to play among the many decks I've built over the years.
