This deck is fast! If I haven't put a creature out on the first turn something has gone wrong. Playing a Rakdos Cackler unleashed is a nice start.

The Spiteful Returned is a fantastic follow up, and of course swinging for 4 damage with the haste from Rakdos Shred-Freak is OK.

The Desecration Demon on turn 4 is to keep the pressure on. The removal in this deck is designed to keep the path free for the weaker starting creatures but by this point they should become null and void.

A Crypt Ghast would be nice to play and hopefully (on turn 3) I should have an Agent of the Fates out. Now is the time to board wipe with extort by bestowing my agent or enchanting with flying/life link. The Crypt Ghast makes my overlord positively cheap in this mono black deck with 24 land.

I am considering putting in a second of my kill condition Abhorrent Overlord as I will be massively benefiting from the devotion in this deck! Further to the large number of tokens spawned by the overlord, I may still have the starting small creatures to sacrifice to keep up the big hitting Abhorrent Overlord.

That is how this standard deck plays! Well. Please plus one me and make sensible suggestions after reading this description.
