Commander / EDH BG (Golgari) Combo Control Discard Infinite Combo Reanimator

is my favorite color combination. Discard is what got me into the game. There's not a lot of overlap between those two, which brings me to the third reason I built this deck: doing things in weird color combinations. Add in some reanimator effects to take opponents' discarded creatures, and this deck has pretty much everything I want.

Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Sadistic Hypnotist forces mass discard, then Karn's Sylex, Pernicious Deed, or Nevinyrral's Disk destroys all (or most) nonland permanents. As your opponents are sitting helpless, cast a reanimator like Geth, Lord of the Vault to steal their stuff, use Tinybones, Trinket Thief to cut their life down, and take your bows.

Maralen of the Mornsong and Opposition Agent combine to make a killer lock. If neither one can be removed, then any time an opponent tries to draw a card, you get to steal a card from them instead.

The Nath-Hypnotist combo can be approximated without using creatures by Geth's Grimoire + Words of Waste. This has a repetition cost of and needs an opponent to make an initial discard, but it's more resistant to removal and lets you draw at the same time.

The less exciting but equally valid win condition is repeatedly casting Chain of Smog on yourself to trigger Professor Onyx's magecraft life drain. Before using this method, be aware that if the Professor gets killed, you're probably going to have an empty hand. Make sure you can protect it with Heroic Intervention or making sure everyone's hand is clear. It's possible to hit this on turn 3, with Sol Ring, another mana rock, Dark Ritual or a mana dork, and consistent land drops.

If all else fails, simply look for a big creature to grab with Reanimate or Beacon of Unrest and swing away. With everyone's graveyard being filled, you should have options.

Maralen of the Mornsong + Opposition Agent = card stealing replaces all opponents' draws

Nath of the Gilt-Leaf + Sadistic Hypnotist = sacrifice a creature to create two creature tokens and opponent discards two cards

Geier Reach Sanitarium + Maralen of the Mornsong = everybody discards at instant speed

Opposition Agent + Weird Harvest = steal a bunch of creatures from everyone who doesn't notice Weird Harvest is a "may" effect

Anvil of Bogardan + Tinybones, Trinket Thief = at each player's end step, draw a card and lose 1 life

Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth = pay , add for every land you control

Geth, Lord of the Vault + Bloodchief Ascension = lots of mill, life drain, and theft

Still finding more! Lots of card interactions in this deck.

Be careful of these, and make sure you don't cross yourself up. Try to clear some of these out with other card choices--synergy is everything here!

Dauthi Voidwalker + Bloodchief Ascension and Tergrid, God of Fright   If a card is exiled by Voidwalker, it won't go into the graveyard to trigger Tergrid or Ascension.

Maralen of the Mornsong + Sylvan Library Maralen prevents you from drawing any cards off Sylvan Library.

More details and description to come, and description to be reorganized (and turned into a full primer, maybe). As always, suggestions are very welcome. I have a more competitive, Stax-focused version of this, too. Arrogant. Ruthless. Oppressive. Victorious.
