Ashaya had become corrupted, twisted, and changed by the first interaction with the Eldrazi. The forests that enshrined Ashaya's soul became dark and ominous, malevolent energies seeping from the clinging mists gasping around the bodies of the trees. Eldritch tentacle like roots erupting from the ground, threatening all who dared encroach on the home of the new Eldrazi worshipping deity

I decided to make this deck because I had an idea from one of my other infinite combo Ashaya decks. I thought, with infinite mana, why would I not run Eldrazi that could work with green permanents? I believe that in some ways this deck could be a little scattered, but I honestly see it hitting its stride easily within the first 6-8 turns on average. Usually by that point it's fairly easy to lock down a game with massive threats. Compared to my previous Ashaya deck, I removed a lot of lock down abilities mainly because they make the game a lot less fun for everyone else, though it definitely made the deck more competitive. The Eldrazzi are really just here for a good time.

The major combo's focus around the pairing of Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and the land untappers Argothian Elder, Krosan Restorer, and Ley Weaver. Llanowar Druid can act as a small burst of mana to hopefully pull out either an Eldrazzi or dig deeper into the deck with card draw. This infinite mana has a few outlets, Staff of Domination can help dig through our deck as well as tap down all opposing creatures, Genesis Wave gets us a lot of permanents and digs through our deck incredibly fast, Hydra's like Lifeblood Hydra, Genesis Hydra, and Hydra Broodmaster can make for some beefy board presence. While this deck can go infinite, it isn't really the major focus, unless you want it to be.

The trees had felt the coming of the ancient beings, their creeping tentacles slithering across the mossy forest floors. Ashaya had watched these beings as they moved gracefully, purposefully through the trees, barely registering the very forest existing around them. As if the life that cowered among the underbrush, housed within the wood and earth itself, was less than nothing. Ashaya craved to know them, and when the Soul reached out it met an emptiness it had never felt before, brutal and cold. Ashaya knew the purpose of the forest now, the fuel for the Infinite End.

I wanted to make this deck as efficient as possible, so I added a lot of card draw engines to try and get the deck online as fast as possible. Runic Armasaur, Beast Whisperer, Soul of the Harvest, Staff of Domination, The Great Henge, Guardian Project, and Zendikar Resurgent are all repeatable methods of card draw, with alternative card advantage generated through recursion and big one off draw effects. There are a few tutors in the deck, the most important ones being Fauna Shaman and Eye of Ugin as they are repeatable tutors coupled with the infinite mana engine running so that you could get every single major eldrazzi out onto the board in a single turn if you wanted to. There's also a large amount of ramp, since that's fairly easy to get in green, as well as less consistent but more repeatable ramp with Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of the Animist, and Extraplanar Lens.

Green is not great for board wipes, however the board wipes that I specifically chose targeted all nonland permanents on the board which ignores your entire creature board state with Ashaya|ashaya, soul of the wild on the board. In order to better facilitate this I wanted to put a large amount of protection onto the board to keep them safe for as long as possible with cards like Lightning Greaves, Champion's Helm, and Asceticism. On top of that I added cards that would facilitate keeping the board state sticky with indestructible via Soul of New Phyrexia and Timber Protector.

Additionally, green seems to have a bit of a tougher time with interacting with opposing boards so I wanted to add in as much as I felt was reasonable. Beast Within, Krosan Grip, Unstable Obelisk and Force of Vigor are instant speed removal. Kenrith's Transformation and Song of the Dryads can be excellent commander removal for problematic commanders as they don't destroy, exile, or tuck, but transform the enemy commander into something relatively harmless. Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury and Karn Liberated are both planeswalkers I added namely for the removal effects, though they are also useful to have around for their other abilities.
