Howdy, folks! This is my submission to the Aquaman challenge. Vorel of the Hull Clade is our aquaman - he's a half human, half merfolk, which is as close as you can get to the actual Aquaman. Aquaman's father is represented by Arcane Lighthouse and Lighthouse Chronologist, and his mother is represented by Empress Galina. Fathom Mage looks like Mera, and plays into our Vorel of the Hull Clade strategy too.

Aquaman also has his cohort of giant sea monsters: Chasm Skulker, Colossal Whale, Draining Whelk, Keiga, the Tide Star, Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep, this list could go on and on.

Aquaman also needs his Atlantis allies, which are represented by a light merfolk subtheme. Cosi's Trickster is going to bone that one friend you have who has all the fetchlands, and Thrasios, Triton Hero is flavorful and just a... really good card.

Aquaman also has the ability to telepathically communicate with sea animals around him. This is represented by Primal Empathy and One with Nature. And yes, even though Telepathy is a card, it's just not good in this deck. Instead, I imagine his telepathy as form of infiltrating the mind without full on going into Control Magic, so Mass Manipulation is going to represent that. Aquaman's trident also gives him the power to summon tsunamis and call down thunder and lightning, which our Devastation Tide effects and Scatter to the Wind represent.

Aquaman's trident is represented by... Bident of Thassa (YES I KNOW WE'RE MISSING A PRONG BUT Surestrike Trident DOESN'T DO MUCH IN THIS DECK), and his mechanical hand is Gauntlet of Power. Aquaman, like most denizens of Atlantis, is supernaturally strong and possesses Might Beyond Reason.

For the strategy of this deck, it's pretty simple. Get some early merfolk out to help you draw cards and ramp until you get to cast your big sea creatures. Control the board with Aquaman's power, Devastation Tide-ing everything when things get hairy or Scatter to the Wind an opponent's powerful spell. There's also a lot of cute things you can do with Vorel of the Hull Clade's ability, like doubling the storage counters on your land to get lots amounts of mana, doubling Lighthouse Chronologist's level counters, or doubling Kiora, Master of the Depths counters so she can instantly ultimate upon arrival.
