Basically the deck revolves around using Assault Formation to get your cheap blockers to become lethal. There's also Kin-Tree Invocation to take advantage of the high toughness on your creatures, easily getting you a 4/4 turn 2 or a possible 10/10 turn 3 (using Shape the Sands). Scourge of Skola Vale is there for those games where you don't find your Assault Formation or it's destroyed. Skola Vale can become very big very fast in this deck not to mention it has trample.

Courser of Kruphix is great in this deck. It can hit hard with Assault and it helps me get through my deck to find it faster.

Commune with the Gods helps out with digging for Assault Formation.

The curve is low and the deck has great aggro potential with a turn 3 win possible aswell as being able to survive long into the late game with powerful blockers.
