This deck is designed to mill opponents relatively quickly using Altar of the Brood. A Deranged Hermit brings in four of his little buddies along with him, thus milling for 5. With Doubling Season, the Hermit mills for nine (himself + 8 squirrels).

Then Assemble the Legion starts an arithmetic progression of more cards milled every turn as more soldiers are put into play each turn. Again, the Doubling Season makes this even more horrific as TWO Muster counters are put on Assemble the Legion and then TWICE that number of Soldier tokens are put into play, then milling the opponent through the Altar. It worked like a charm last night and I didn't even have Doubling Season in the deck!

I've also thought about adding in a Lifeline or two. Then I can let the Deranged Hermit expire due to the Echo cost and then he comes back! (with friends, of course).
