Maybeboard


Let it be known that this was not in any way an original concept on my behalf. Deck idea was taken from a recent Star City Games versus video in which one of the participants piloted a similar list. The primary objective is to fetch Astral Slide via Zur and then proceed to win by generating insurmountable card advantage and board control based on the cycling mechanic and the interactions thereof with your creatures. Slide was one of my favorite extended decks back in the day and this prompted me to breathe new life into it. It is a ton of fun to play and rewards tight play, and it has proved to be quite good in the games that I've played so far. I'm having to resist the urge to up the fetchable enchantment quotient to get more mileage out of Zur himself, but I've been there and done that and I don't want to be "that guy" anymore. The deck is rounded out by a few other powerful flicker engines to supplement Slide should it be taken out of commission.
