This is my first shot at getting back into MtG in about 11 years... and my friends hooked me with the commander format.

First commander i looked at was Atraxa, the Praetors Voice. And I made my choice right then, not realizing that she seems to be most everyones favorite as well.

Oh welp... i started buying cards already so this is what i am trying to get to.

Theme is proliferation and how to abuse it, probably similar to what a lot of others will do.

There are a couple of combo's I see available with this set-up, with the obvious play of Magistrate's Scepter with enough running proliferates (Contagion Engine + Atraxa/Contagion Clasp/Plaguemaw Beast) that you could possibly never let anyone have a turn.

Others are a bit harder to pull off, but make enough copies of Crystalline Crawlers (need 5 total), and drop a viral drake into play and suddenly you have a infinite mana loop that also pairs as a infinite proliferate loop. Copy the Crystalline Crawlers with Progenitor Mimic / Mirrorweave / Spitting Image / Prototype Portal to pull this off.

There's all sorts of other synergy, but I have a few more ideas...
