Battle for Zendikar introduced a new mechanic Awaken and some enablers. In particular, Halimar Tidecaller returns Awaken spells from your graveyard. With Mirror Mockery, you can repeatedly clone Tidecaller and return spells like Scatter to the Winds (counterspell), Ruinous Path (removal), and Mire's Malice (discard).Discard + Counters ensure a stronger lock. If they play spells, you counter. If they don't, you make them discard. Thus, locking out the opponent.

Fetchlands and tubalands easily allows 5-color decks. This helps support Bring to Light to tutor-cast almost any nonland card in the deck. Only planeswalkers can't be tutored with it.

This site needs a new hub called Prison. That's what this deck archetype is.
