This is an updated version of a standard pauper deck that I played back in INN/RTR standard. It wasn't meant to be good, just durdley. When it rotated out, I kept it as a pet deck and made it more combo focused. The current iteration is probably where it'll stay. I'm not looking to push it competitively. Just keep it fun and made of only commons.

Basically, it works by creating a bunch of mana through Axebane Guardian + Freed from the Real . Freed from the Real is a better version of Galvanic Alchemist for this deck. Kaervek's Torch is the primary mana dump. [[Scalding Devil and Galvanic Alchemist are torch 5-8 and Freed 5 and 6.

Train of Thought is for when the combo is assembled, but there isn't a win con in hand. It also provides a quick draw for gathering other pieces of the comb. Ponder allows for the deck to set up draws.

I've contemplated going from the tapped duals to 4x Terramorphic Expanse and 4x Evolving Wilds to swap out the Ponder with Brainstorm. Next time I get a chance to test the deck, I'll give it a try.

Old Description:This is a deck based around the Axebane Guardian/Galvanic Alchemist combo. Basically, turtle up and draw cards until I can assemble the team, then dump it all into Scalding Devil.
