Normie $800 control deck.

Instantly make your opponents surrender with a turn 1 Ancestral Vision.

Like in any control deck, this one's goal is to stall until the late game to cast planeswalkers like Elspeth, Sun's Champion or animate Celestial Collonade to close it. Early game, this deck offers cantrips to reduce deck size and improve consistency. Spell Quellers offer a decent quasi-counterspell that doubles as an evasive creature for harassing the opponent in the mid game. Path to Exile and Blessed Alliance allow you to murder things that made it past your wall of counterspells. Sphinx's Revelation will allow you to regain massive card advantage later in the game when you have used most of the cards in your hand and your opponent has lost most of theirs.

Some manlands are included to allow for a more consistent creature base, and one that is safe from the wrath of Supreme Verdict.

Here's a example of what an optimal play sequence would look like:

Turn 1: Ancestral Vision or Opt

Turn 2: Wall of Omens or Jace, Vryn's Prodigy

Turn 3: Wait or counter something with Spell Queller

Turn 4: Supreme Verdict or narset transcendant or Cryptic Command (this is where things start to pick up)

Turn 5: Collect your welfare from Ancestral Vision and continue to counter their stuff until 6 mana.

6 Mana: Play a fattie like Sun Titan or Elspeth, Sun's Champion
