Why this deck exists
I wasn't happy with the original Erayogles, or at least, not as happy as I could be. Compared to a regular Bogles deck, it just wasn't as fast as it needed to be. In addition, I found that three colors was a lot for a Bogles deck. But, fear not! Here's a new and improved, just as silly deck!
Azorius Erayogles tries to narrow the focus, using just blue and white. You can still play the Bogle, with the bonus of being able to play the ultra-cool Invisible Stalker alongside it! I've tried to make it budget as well, although Erayo made it slightly hard.
What exactly is Erayogles, and why does it sound like a disease?
Erayogles is a funny, casual budget-sensitive spin on the Bogles archetype. Essentially, you load up your Bogles with cheap Auras, and save a lot of 0-drop artifacts in your hand for when you draw into Erayo. Even without the artifacts, by the time Erayo comes out, you'll have no problem casting 4 spells a turn, if you've been careful about it. Sigarda's Aid also helps you attach your Equipment right away should you need to.
Erayo is the silliest thing on the deck (and also the most expensive, money-wise). Countering every opponent's first spell slows them down a lot, and lets you keep jacking up your Bogle.
Original Description
You're a casual player. You're staring at your decks, but you just feel like you're missing something. Magic just feels so...serious. You want something new, something stupidly funny, something absurd.
Your problem is that you haven't tried Erayogles!
This deck is the dumbest of dumb, combining the Bogles archetype with a Kamigawa card,
Erayo, Soratami Ascendant
that allows you to counter your opponent's spells once she flips. At its core, the gameplan is to play a Bogle, load it up with Umbras (and now, Equipments) like usual, while holding a ton of 0-cost artifacts in your hand. Then, you play Erayo, cast a ton of 0-cost artifacts, and counter every first spell your opponents play! Then, it's easy street for your little Bogles, eating away at your opponents' life totals.
Also, it's really funny.
