An attempt at an Azorius Style Control-focussed Deck designed to close / slow down the table ahead of establishing a lock via either the Knowledge Pool lock (opponents unable to cast spells) or Omen Machine (which functions in a similar fashion) and force a concession rather than an outright win. As such it runs a higher number of tutors than I'd normally run in order to get the pieces together that it needs for consistency.

Defensive & Protective rather than offensive & combat-focussed like a lot of other decks I play, it's not designed to be played often, but an occasional deck if things have been too rapid at the table and things need to be slowed down (it's especially friendly to newer players at tables where people play higher powered decks against them). Also helpful as a deck to play with new players as it shows some of the stax-effects that can cause problems without playing the really problematic ones (i.e. Stasis etc.), the counterspells are there to protect your spells rather than deny your opponents theirs.
