Maybeboard

I like the color green, but playing mono green can be a bit frustrating because of how WOTC has kind of locked Mono Green into the big mana, big creatures archetype. This often feels like it forces you into building decks that are largely about arms racing your opponents. You will often be the problem at the table because everyone sees a 10/10 creature on board and get very afraid (and probably ignore other less apparent threats). They kill the 10/10, and then you are out of all the mana you dumped into it and now someone pops off and you can't answer it at all. Or you are facing a commander that is "must kill on sight" but you are green so your other opponents have to handle it all themselves.

This deck is hoping to answer that feeling while staying within the green mono-color. "Why not just play a two-color deck and add removal spells that way?" That is a fair question. The simple answer is I hate the price that comes with multi-colored decks, and there is certain fun that comes with sticking to only 1 color.

Azusa is nice commander because you have strong ramp through your commander and your can get more value from draw spells as they act as ramp as well (lands in hand = lands on battlefield essentially).
