Backhand of Justice

Casual Mono-White Tribal

zarjamar

An older deck of mine, the idea was to have a tribal Angel deck. Since I last modified this plenty more Angel cards had come out to support this, but I'm hoping maybe some of you might see something I don't? I don't have a lot of time to do much research nowadays, sadly.

EDIT: So...I completely forgot to list the general strategy for the deck. It's quite simple, really - stall and lock down until you can get your angels out to stomp on your opponents. The combination of Crackdown and Kismet helps to ensure that most critters come in tapped and stay tapped. Coat of Arms serves as an unprecedented aid in this, especially in regards to other tribal decks of naturally smaller creatures like Elves, Merfolk, and Goblins. Then, once these two are set up, all it takes is one Sunblast Angel to knock them all out, like a selective Wrath of God. Any other critters that seem to evade this can either be met with a well timed Blinding Light or just one hit from the Blinding Angel can force your opponent onto the defensive, allowing your proper time to charge up your Luminarch Ascension.

While you're keeping them down, your Angels will happily take advantage of Concerted Effort to spread around the Vigilance from your Serra Avengers and Radiant, Archangel while handing out the protection of the Pristine Angel so you can walk through any enemy forces that may evade your lockdown.

This deck does seem to be hindered by other White decks, sadly. I'm open to suggestions on ways to remedy this (especially if it involves newer angels).
