Game day was the smallest I've seen in awhile, only 11 people. This may be because the LGS is running two this weekend and people are showing up for Sunday's.

This deck got me first at game day, but there are several changes that I will make for later. I'm gonna take out the dictate as I seemed to side board it out every game. The other change would be taking Ajani out of the side board, I think it is great card advantage just not for this deck.

1st round - 2-0 - played against W/U heroic. His deck was mostly 1 drops with Lagonna-Band Trailblazer and Favored Hoplite with tricks. Was able to deal with the 8/12 trailblazer and keep any creatures he landed from doing enough damage until kiora brought on the krakens.

2nd round - 2-1 - played against a R/W aggro deck. He took game 1 with a Warleader's Helix when I had lethal on the board next turn. After boarding I was able to ult Jace (ticking him up to prevent Ash Zealot and Legion Loyalist from being a great topdeck) each game to nab Aurelia, the Warleader and either Aetherling or Elspeth.

3rd round - 2-0 - Worst matchup I had in Junk midrange. First game the guy got all 4 Advent of the Wurm's in his deck but I was able to deal with each (thank goodness for the main deck reprisal). Post board he brought in Blood Baron of Vizkopa but Kiora locked that down as Elspeth tokens got the job done.

4th round - 2-1 - Played against a guy I normally lose to with a W/U control deck. Game 1 he stuck a Jace and I had no answers as he gained the card advantage I couldn't stick anything on the board and after almost all my wincons got countered or sphered in my attempt to catch up I scooped so I might have enough time to get in 2 games post board. Game 2 was miscutter set at 3 (the sweet spot that dodges elspeth and last breath) doing the dirty work quick. Game 3 was an opening hand of 2 loxodons that I was able to stagger onto the board so he had to 1 for 1. Didn't need the third one I drew into.
