A brew I came up with after I saw the potential in a newly released spoiler, Hardened Scales. This deck utilizes a plethora of Heroes and spells that make them stronger. Here's a quick rundown:
One Drops:
Favored Hoplite
being the typical Hero, I decided to spice it up a little bit by adding
Hero of Leina Tower
, as it provides great late game potential and is never a bad draw. For the targeting spells, I have Aqueous Form to push through damage easily and to control my draws. Launch the Fleet has excellent synergy with a certain card that we'll get into later on. And finally Hardened Scales, because it's awesome.
Two Drops:
Phalanx Leader
is a given of course, but there are also some newer cards that hasn't seen much play recently, one of them being Battlefield Thaumaterge. This guy absolutely runs this deck. If you have him out with Launch the Fleet and
Phalanx Formation
in our hand it's practically over. Sage of Hours is in here to try out, I think it may have some potential. Then there's Setessan Tactics, which gets rid of a bunch of stuff. I also wanted to try out Military Intelligence for card-draw.

bashes face. Anywho, I also added Obelisk of Urd, since I noticed all my creatures are Humans.
A SIDE NOTEI have been playing Standard since Dark Ascension, and I still haven't moved away from standard yet. I know that Fetchlands are being reprinted, and I know that they are awesome, but I really don't know how to use them in depth (i.e. how many lands to run with them in general or how many basics I should run). Helpful advice will be welcomed!
