Tokens and ramp spells combo with Baru to make game winning turns happen fast! Its fun winning games in one attack and this deck does it pretty consistently. This is a ramp deck, but unlike many ramp decks it isn't trying to ramp into something big like Eldrazi. Because of Baru's ability ramp is a great draw all game not just early. In addition to providing mana, the ramp spells are there to trigger Landfall (which usually makes tokens and/or pumps the team). Baru is a relatively unknown commander too which is fun. This deck has grown on me since building it, I like to play it quite a bit now.
