This is an attempt at creating a cool feeling Mardu deck for the Battle of Zendikar standard season.

I like the idea of bringing back the Butcher of the Horde as a standard staple. The set has had a good amount of instant speed removal taken out. Gone are the days of Hero's Downfall and Stoke the Flames. I also really like Hordeling Outburst now that Bile Blight has gone.

I think Mardu has access to the best removal suite in standard right now, and comboing this with high value cards should make for a competitive deck.
