This is just a fun korovold list for casual commander.

With Korovold serving as the deck's primary draw engine, the goal of the deck is to generate value through sacrifice, lands-matter triggers, recursion effects, and present a lethal threat through the use of +1/+1 counters or craterhoof behemoth.

theme:

Sacrifice and recursion- the central and overarching theme of the deck is centered on utilizing Korvold's triggered draw ability by sacrificing creatures, lands, and treasure while rewarding those sacrifices in a variety of ways that synergize with the deck's other themes.

Graveyard recursion is a natural companion to sacrifice, and in this deck, spells like life/death, eternal witness and ramunap excavator can be used to cheat mana costs or ensure a steady stream of sacrificial lands and creatures. This deck also uses mass recursion spells like living death and world shaper, so loading up the graveyard represents an opportunity to generate huge value. Cards like Entomb, altar of dimentia, life from the loam, and wheel of fortune all present opportunities to get recursion targets into the graveyard from your hand or library.

Sub-themes:

Lands matter- exploration effects, fetch lands, land tutors, land ramp, and land recursion help to color fix, mana ramp, and generate landfall triggers for cards like bloodghast. Landfall and land sacrifice triggers also generate tokens through cards like titania, protector of argoth, scute swarm, and tireless provisioner.

Treasure- cards like mahadi, Emporium Master, Pitiless plunderer, and goldvein hydra all help fuel the Korvold draw engine by rewarding death and sacrifice, and providing additional sacrifice triggers and mana.

+1/+1 counters- while the use of +1/+1 counters is the deck's least represented theme, cards like hardened scales and retribution of the ancients both look to interact with korvold's steady stream of counters, while cards like mazirek, kraul deathpriest and death's presence both look to reward death or sacrifice by dumping counters onto the battlefield rapidly.
