This deck uses the advantage of infect damage to try to defeat opponents quickly. It uses small creatures such as Glistener Elf and Plague Stinger and boosts them up with pump spells like Mutagenic Growth and Groundswell. Cards like Blossoming Defense and Vines of Vastwood help to protect the creature from removal, and Rancor helps you trample trough opposing creatures. Phyrexian Crusader is a great card with first strike and protection from red and white (aka cards like Lightning Bolt and Path to Exile), but with a higher mana cost. This deck aims to beat an opponent as soon as possible in usually 4-5 turns. Depending on which deck it is matched up with, it can win on turn 2 or 3 as well. It is a budget deck, so it does not include cards like Noble Hierarch, and the land base is much weaker. To upgrade this deck, I would start by adding 2 Pendelhavens and 4 Inkmoth Nexuses. I still need to cut cards from this deck because I have added in 4 Blossoming Defenses with the release of Kaladesh!
