Do I need more card draw? Do I need more rats? Are there any cards I've maybe overlooked? Oh my god, did my opponent just Misdirection my Maelstrom Pulse?

This deck is a lot of fun. It tries to control the board until the rats have finished their job or Thrumming Stone showed up.

There are some nice interactions, for example Swarmyard and Crypt Rats as a repeatable damage source that gets overlooked quite often.

I tested Bloodbond March (the reason to splash green in the first place), but it was kind of clunky and not really necessary. I could add blue / replace green with blue for card draw, but I really enjoy casting Echoing Courage, I just can't help it.

This is not Canadian Highlander, it is the German version. There is no such thing as a points list, some cards are just straight up banned. I've included the most relevant of them in the maybeboard section so you can see what card pool I can not pull from.

As a sidenote: I would actually prefer Canlander, but it hasn't reached my playgroup / LGS yet. Yet!

There are some cards in the sideboard I already considered playing, but am not sure about / just don't own them (the 2 tutors).

Thanks for looking at my deck. It is fair and more versatile than one would think. I really enjoy playing it, so every thought on the card choices I've made are more than welcome.
