This EDH Deck is built mainly around the idea of getting big creatures. And lots of them.

Doubling Season and Primal Vigor are very essential to this deck because they double both the amount of tokens you put onto the battlefield and because they double the amount of counters you would put onto something.

Nath of the Gilt-Leaf not only allows you to make opponents to discard cards, but whenever an opponent discards a card, you get a 1/1 elf token. The great part about this commander is that you don't need to have it out to win, but it is also helpful in what you are trying to do with this deck.

You're going to want to olay Budoka Gardener and Azusa, Lost but Seeking soon to get many lands out early to allow you to bring out some big creatures. Fierce Empath is also allows you to bring one big creature into your hand to help you get board presence early.

You'll also want to get Doubling Season and Primal Vigor out as fast as possible to start token and counter doubling.

Avenger of Zendikar is also a somewhat important card for this deck. It allows you to bring out a HUGE amount of tokens and +1/+1 counters onto the battlefield.

Once you have a ton of creatures on the battlefield, you'll want to make these guys even bigger to ensure the death of your opponent(s). Garruk Wildspeaker, Apex Predator, the Veil-Cursed's ultimates are all very good for a massive beatdown. Apex Predator's is probably the best, however all of them make all creatures gain trample. Craterhoof Behemoth is also extremely good, because when you have tons of tokens it gives +1/+1 for each token you control to each creature you control, and it gives them trample.
