This version of Bant focuses on slowing down the early game while setting up your mana base. Once it can either drop the larger creatures or cast a Verdict, the rest of the game turns into wave after wave of huge monsters.One of the nice tricks with this deck is Angel of Serenity combo'd with the Strionic Resonator. Hitting three of your opponent's creatures with the copy allows you to exile them, and never see them again, while sifting your graveyard for some fatties should the angel fall. Don't be afraid to pair the resonator's effect with Thragtusk, Voice of Resurgence or Kalonian Hydra.For your early game, getting to an Imposing Sovereign quickly with Loxodon Smiter back up is generally what will happen. Don't be afraid to Verdict even with these guys out. Note though, try to Verdict when your opponent is both tapped down on mana and has two or fewer cards in hand. This means his/her rebuild will be very unlikely to make a huge impact in the few turns that follow.
