Where to start, this deck utilizes life in every way I could possibly think of. The card draw can get out of hand quite quickly but most of the card draw is a choice of how many cards you'd like or if you want to draw them or not which is really nice. Some heavy removal for board problems, plenty of spot removal for any singular problems. Some ridiculous beatdown creatures to seal the deal if your life isn't high enough by turn 7 or 8.

Some of the combo's in this deck are Vizkopa Guildmage plus any major lifegain cards like Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless or any other heavy lifegain.

Aetherflux Reservoir + Exquisite Blood with 51+ life is an instant win no matter how many opponents you have.

And of course you have to have the infamous Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood combo, especially for this deck.

All of the draw effects are amplified by Alhammarret's Archive so ridiculously it's unfair. Phyrexian Arena, Greed, Bloodgift Demon, Sphinx's Revelation, Erebos, God of the Dead, and lets not forget Well of Lost Dreams
