This deck achieves massive life gain, often through feedback loops with Serra Avatar, but in other ways as well.

Sources of life gain are Tree of Redemption , Essence Harvest, Vault of the Archangel, Sheltering Word , Thragtusk.

Trostani, Voice of Selesnya, Rhox Faithmender are amplifiers. Cloudshift and Restoration Angel lend a hand at times as well.

Trostani, Selesnya's Voice + Rhox Faithmender + (Serra Avatar OR Tree of Redemption ) == LOL

(Tree of Life OR Serra Avatar) + Feed the Pack = LOL

Akroma's Memorial makes either Serra Avatar or the army of wolves from Feed the Pack an immediate and credible threat while also protecting them from some removal (black/red), and granting each creature lifelink in this deck is fantastic.

Sheltering Word on Serra Avatar doubles your life total.

Essence Harvest on Serra Avatar doubles your life total and usually kills an opponent outright.

Rhox Faithmender + Tree of Redemption is interesting: swapping life totals with the Tree can result in "gaining life", which is doubled by the Faithmender in the process.

Feed the Pack + Trostani, Voice of Selesnya is a pretty obvious combo, but there is an interesting interaction with the Tree of Redemption . It is often advantageous to swap life totals with the Tree of Redemption first so you gain more 2/2 Wolf tokens, which will cause you to gain even more life from Trostani.
