I just wanted to find a way to play Abzan that would be fun andat least reasonably strong. At first I was focusing too much on the +1/+1 theme, but then i realized what I really wanted to do was drop rhinos.

That's when the idea of a green centered ramp deck came up.I had been playtesting with genesis hydra and realized how cool it would be to run abzan creature ramp.

But first I had to figure out what made it different and what advantages it brought as opposed to running a Temur deck, obviously more focused on big creatures than Abzan.

1. Siege rhino: Obviously I can't know for sure how good it is, but it just looks like fun to drop it and get that drain going.

2. removal options: Banishing light can be dropped off of a genesis hydra, and abzan charm (right now guide is a placeholder for that) can double as a sign in blood.

3. Ajani: a great way to dig out the rhinos, collosi, and hydras. also can pump up a rhino to smash in the opponent or pump an elf who is no longer needed for mana.

4: More stuff in the sideboard to contest a wrath-heavy deck: I admit, temur's counterspells probably hold off that end hostilities a hell of a lot better than I can, but still, being able to see ahead or even clear elspeth with a despise is nice, as is saving a few guys with ajani's presence.

Mostly I just like to ramp out genesis into rhino. If I can do that a few times at fnm I'll say it was worth making this.

Anyways I've had a lot of fun making this deck and I'm looking forward to getting to play it at fnm. feedback is always welcome.
