Creature (4)

Instant (2)

Sorcery (2)

Land (4)

Enchantment (3)

Lays down Black Vise and flying creatures with vigilance for non-tapping damage sources before using Stasis to lock down the opponent. Forsaken City, Lotus Petal, and Gush provide ways to access mana without untap steps. Daze, Tidal Bore, and Boomerang respond to threats while also allowing Islands to be recycled back into the hand and increasing the hand size of the opponent for Black Vise. Misdirection makes pseudo-countering possible without mana, but only 2 are included, as discard is risky when Forsaken City effectively fixes your hand size while Stasis is in play - though Gush can break out of this.

In the sideboard, Wasteland can be used to slow the game while the opponent takes damage, or just remove a source of mana - making Black Vise more potent. Chill is a mean hoser which red which has few answers to. Shieldsphere is anti-aggro. The symmetry of Prosperity is broken by Black Vise.
