This a very straight forwards kinds of control deck. Your win cons are going to be kalitas and linvala flying in while Sorin takes the life out of your opponents. Here are some the card choices I made.
2 Tragic Arrogance/ 2 Languish/ 2 planar outburst side: I chose to go a 2/2 split for Tragic arrogance and Languish because this format is full of so many strong planeswalkers that you don't want to leave them up unanswered. Along with that, you don't want to leave your Sorin up alone either. Tragic arrogance is a good balance to just wipe the boards and sometimes you get some funny creature/artifact creature gags where you can keep a thopter from a hangarback on the field and it be the target as both the creature and the artifact. Languish is good when it comes to removal. The fact that it is 4 mana is just amazing for this format. Plus your Linvala doesn't die. It hits hard against many of the aggro builds and some of the tribal decks that are gonna come into circulation, zombies and humans. Along with the 2/2 split, I put planar outburst in the side for the control counter. Sometimes that dude you get can be just what the doctor ordered late in the game.
Everyone probably understands the reason behind the Transgress the Mind and Duress. You can control their hand and know what they have. That is such a major advantage for what you are doing with this deck.
One thing that might be jumping out is the Ojutai Exemplars. This card is nice as a way to kind of finish a game off. Plus it's so much stronger now that Rhino is gone, and it assists Kalitas getting a hit in. You can kill a dude with a noncreature spell, tap another then get as much damage in with Kalitas for a finishing swing. Along with that, if you are behind, a 4/4 lifelink first striker isn't bad after you might have just removed one of their dudes with a removal spell. So Ojutai Exemplars and Linvala are great for getting back into the game especially if you have been taking advantage of anguished unmaking and read the bones.
A lot of the remaining cards of the main deck are self explanatory, and I'll get into the side board now.
Flaying Tendrils: Aggro, Humans, Jace is an 0/2. Hits a lot.
Hallowed Moonlight: Zombies, CoCo
Infinite Obliteration: Eldrazi Mother F***ers
Planar Outburst: Talked about above
Ruinous Path: Control Match up removal
To the Slaughter: If you can get the delirium off, it's just nasty. Especially since planeswalkers are going to be so huge this format, and Dragonlord Ojutai still hasn't rotated yet. The format is far from seeing Esper control go away.
