Greetings. I've played MTG since I was 7 years old at the kitchen table with my parents playing 6th edition. I've taken breaks. I stopped at Amonkhet, and played the M19 pre-release, going undefeated 4-0 with U/W aggro. Only decent cards were Scapeshift and Death Baron which sat in a box all night.

Anyway, I'm new to this standard, and am new to Ixilan, Rivals, Devastation. Looking for additional suggestions on how to incorporate lifegain and strong artifact/enchantment removal is a must for the sideboard.

Elenda, the Dusk Rose + Supernatural Stamina is absolutely insane. No matter what, your minimum return is 3 lifelink Vampires, then you get to bring the Vampire Queen right back. Beautiful.

Otherwise, the name of the game is synergize creatures early, and wait for Champion of Dusk. Creatures will get big early, and there is plenty of spot removal to beat your life down early and often. I will be adding more details on deck play shortly, testing this currently. Need a final copy for tomorrow. Please assist!
