Blossoming Enchantments

Standard*

maxwread

Sideboard

Enchantment Control featuring Eidolon of Blossoms as the center-focus. This deck excels at winning against Midrange decks, but doesn't do so well against aggressive decks. The deck is Bant with a splash of red in the mainboard and black in the sideboard to combat MonoBlack decks, and certain problem cards such as Obzedat, Ghost Council and Stormbreathe Dragon. Although being four colors the mana base is well supported by Mana Bloom.

The deck is designed to go long using cards like Banishing Light, Detention Sphere, Pacifism, Martial Law and Sphere of Safety to answer threats while cards like Courser of Kruphix and Blind Obedience to mitigate damage to your life and Eidolon of Blossoms to keep your hand full of answers. One-of copies of Primeval Bounty and Into the Wilds are two other utility enchantments which are usually very good when I draw them, but I'd probably never want more than one. Celestial Flare is our only maindeck instant-speed removal spell but it usually proves useful (Originally it was Selesnya Charm but I'm unsure of which I like more).

The main win-conditions are Heliod, God of the Sun and Assemble the Legion but I have won by beating my opponent down with my other utility creatures.

Eidolon of Blossoms + Mana Bloom is very good, try it out yourself.

Any feedback is much appreciated.
