Multiplayer Creature Theft deck. The deck works really well as a supporting deck in 2HG games, but I'd like to make it better in FFA games as well. Here's how tends to play out as of right now:
Play an early Mystic Remora for card draw. Often times you'll have nothing to do for the first couple turns anyway, so you might as well pay the upkeep when no one has the mana to pay extra for their non-creature spells. Turn 3, you can let the Remora die and either draw more cards (and make a friend) with
Trade Secrets
or put down a Vedalken Shackles or Proteus Staff.
Tezzeret the Seeker can also fetch either of the above artifacts (whichever you don't already have). Steal one of their creatures and tuck it back into their deck with Proteus Staff and put your own Blightsteel Colossus into play.
Next turn, bounce all their permanents with an overloaded Cyclonic Rift and swing in with big Blighty.
Alternate win cons are kicked Rite of Replication on the best creature on the field, sometimes it's ol' Blighty himself. Or you can tick Tezzeret the Seeker up and ult. him to swing with a bunch of 5/5 artifact creatures.
The curve of the deck is a little high when you consider that you really want to be Overloading Cyclonic Rift every time and Kicking Rite of Replication for the most value, so
Thran Dynamo
was added for ramp. Works very well with Tezzeret the Seeker too.
The deck is pretty good, but sometimes I just die to early pressure or artifact wipes. I feel like the deck could be better, so I'm hoping some of you have some ideas for this type of shell. I'm thinking of cutting the Cryptic Command to start with, even though they're very good cards. The deck typically wants to tap out of each of its turns, so I think I will just stick with the Force of Wills to counter the "holy shit, I can't let you do that!" type spells. So please, suggest away! No infinite combos, please.
