I have wanted to make a cycling deck for some time. the idea is to abuse the power of Fluctuator to reduce cycling costs, ideally to zero. dimir colours seem to have the best cycling cards, so that was what i have used here. there are a lot of different ways you could take this deck. i have made it to incorporate Living Death as another key card. the idea is in the early game to get creatures into your graveyard via cycling them, meanwhile stalling your opponent with countervailing winds, miscalculation, rescind, and blockers like shadowstorm vizier and vile manifestation. then once the yard is stacked, hit them with living death to bring back your fatties (Curator of Mysteries, Archfiend of Ifnir). If some of their monsters come back too, thats OK because once you start cycling, the Archfiend will -1/-1 them to death pretty quickly, while the Curator lets you scry before you draw your cycle card - this helps a lot to avoid non-cycling cards while you are 'going off' with fluctuator in play. The deck is designed to include as many 2 colourless cycling cards as possible (including lands), so that these become 0 to cycle with fluctuator, so you can often cycle through 5-10 cards per turn (more with Curator in play). This ridiculous amount of cycling makes the early game chumps (Vile and Vizier) into beasts in the late game. Playtesting reveals that the deck works reasonably well. Not super powerful, but a lot of fun to play. I look forward to trying a cycling deck in some other colours. The two cards that would really be good to include from other colours are Astral Slide (white) and/or Lightning Rift (red).
