I finally had a chance to play this deck and it was fun to play. There is a lot to keep track of with all the clue things going on. In the first match I lost the first game after getting mana flooded. The next 2 played well to get the victory and I was able to succeed both times by using Alter Ego and copying Ormendahl; the first time with 4 1/1 counters on him, the second time with 6. In the last game I was also at 39 life thanks to the Graf Moles. The next 2 matches were horrible. This deck did not preform well against control decks. In the last match it did better, but I got mana flooded the first game and then screwed in the second. That being said, this was the most fun of my games.

The main mechanic with the Briarbridge Patrol just didn't work, so I pulled them out along with the big creatures that went with it. In their stead, I've added another Altered Ego, another timeless tracker, 2 more Confront the Unknown (because I attacked once with a 5/4 Bearer of Overwhelming Truths and gave him +6/+6), and 3 Ulvenwald Mysteries. I also pulled all the Traverse the Ulvenwalds because I never needed them other than to pump the Bearer's Prowess. I upped a few more cards to 4's in their place.

I'll be playing this deck again next week at FNM and we'll see how it works. I'm sure I'll end up playing more control decks because Outpost has been overtaken by them recently. Maybe I'll get a bit more movement out of it.
