When Piru, the Volatile was spoiled in MD2, I thought: this will be my new favorite commander. So I built this deck that takes advantage from Piru's board-wipe x mass life-gain ability.

Ways to „don't pay taxes":

1. Ashnod's Altar+Phyrexian Reclamation+Thran Temporal Gateway/Quicksilver Amulet (but you still have to pay 4)
2. Phyrexian Reclamation+Sneak Attack (only 2 cards and cost only 3 but you can't choose moment of sacrifice)
3. Kaya the Inexorable+Thran Temporal Gateway/Quicksilver Amulet (Piru survives even exile)
4. Nim Deathmantle/Nim Deathmantle+Ashnod's Altar (7 damage didn't kill all nonlegendary creatures? Okay, so what about 14, 21 or maybe 28 damage)
5. all other reanimation

Win-conditions:

• Thrilling Encore (What's better than borad-wipe that gains life? Board-wipe that gives you your opponents creatures)
• Hatred (If casted at attacking Piru, it's even better)
• Felidar Sovereign (No comment)
• Aetherflux Reservoir (Even if your opponents not playing creature decks you often get at least 28life from one board-wipe so if you don't have Felidar Sovereign, you have other way to spend your life)
• Phyrexian Processor (You want to play really big creatures? If yes, wouldn't you mind some 20/20s)
• Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose/Repercussion (Yeah, after some work, our dragon's ability can hit players)
