Step 1: Get Mycosynth Lattice and
Neurok Transmuter
into play. Use
Willbender
, Snap, Dispel/Negate, Ensoul Artifact to protect yourself and the combo.
Vedalken Engineer
powers out the Mycosynth Lattice.
Step 2: When the time is right, play
Furnace Dragon
! It only will cost RRR because of affinity, which is easily paid because mana can be spent as any color with the Mycosynth Lattice out.
Step 3: After
Furnace Dragon
hits the battlefield, its triggered ability goes on the stack. Respond by using
Neurok Transmuter
's activated ability to turn as many of your creatures as possible into blue NON-artifacts. Ultimately, this will EXILE everything in play, with the exception of Board-wipezilla and whatever friends it didn't eat, of course!
Tips and Tricks:
-If you can, keep a land or two in hand to play after the deed is done.
-As long as
Neurok Transmuter
is an artifact creature with the Lattice, you can pay its abilities with
Vedalken Engineer
.
-You can Snap a spent
Willbender
.
-Land Ensoul Artifact on a Darksteel Citadel for an indestructible 5/5.
Bonus Pro tip:
Willbender
beats split-second spells! Be it true that other spells and activated abilities can't go on the stack with a split-second topping, but triggered abilities do.
Willbender
's ability is a triggered ability. Morphing is a special action that does not use the stack. Bend that Krosan Grip back!
