The strategy is pretty straight forwards: get many lands, play Borborygmos Enraged, discard as appropriate.

This is an amazingly fun deck to play, though I doubt it's winning any tournaments. There's not a whole lot of nuance here, which is probably appropriate being Gruul and all.

You'll like playing this if:

1. You live for Lightning Bolts

2. You've always wanted to make it rain using lands

3. You've been mana shorted one too many times

You'll not like this if

1. You'd like to have a commander before turn 5 (at the earliest)

2. You're worried about vulnerability to removal, counter spells, theft, Voidstone Gargoyle, graveyard hate, focused aggro, land destruction, anything else bad

3. You're above cheap laughs
