Rationale for running Utopia Sprawl, which I've recently removed:

So most of these card are self-explanatory, except Utopia Sprawl, so let me explain. Many people run Noble Hierarch as a mana dork, and sure it's a blocker and exalted is nice, but it doesn't draw ou cards with Kor Spiritdancer and exalted might not be as good as a boost from 2 Ethereal Armor. Some will say you might not get a forest, but most decks run 3-4 Temple Garden, 4 Windswept Heath, 2-3 other fetches, 1 Forest and 1 Dryad Arbor. Sure Dryad Arbor has summoning sickness and dies to spot removal, but a forest nevertheless. Anyway, I'm convinced Utopia Sprawl in bogles (with a Kor Spiritdancer ) is like Gitaxian Probe in storm. My reasoning is that it pays for itself in mana (and it ramps which is the Noble Hierarch bonus), so if you draw from it with Kor Spiritdancer , you net 0 mana 0 card advantage, and you get an aura on the field for Ethereal Armor, which could be compared to storm count I guess. Deck thinning is apparently more a thing in bogles than other decks (see link above), although you could run more fetches, but eventually you could run out of shocks or if you run a playset of shocks and lots of fetches losing more life. Another thing is running 2 less lands and 2 more Utopia Sprawl can turn 2 land hands into 1 land 1 sprawl hands, which I'd rather have (even though I guess they hit you with Ghost Quarter). In the end, when you get Kor Spiritdancer , you tend to get our land drop for the turn, so Utopia Sprawl still gives you that mana, and it lets you get another card, plus the Ethereal Armor bonus. Basically, you get a Noble Hierarch and a fetch for the price of one, as long as you're careful when you tap your mana.

Lastly, say you have 2 lands, and you tap one for a Utopia Sprawl on the other. You don't lose your mana for the turn, so that's like noble higherarch with haste.
