Me trying to make The Scarab God into a competitive commander, take a look!Two Gameplans, Two Combos

Fast Combo

The combo is Necrotic Ooze + Phyrexian Devourer + Triskelion , making sure devourer and trike are in the gy, while bringing Nooze into the battlefield (regular or eternalized).

The easiest way to do this is Buried Alive the creatures, then use Reanimate or The Scarab God's activated ability to bring the Nooze back and ping everyone to death.

The main problem with this combo is that it only works relatively early in the game, because Phyrexian Devourer's ability relies on mana cost. Later into the game, we simply do not have enough cards in the library to ping everyone to death. This combo is best done while you still have at least 60 or so cards in your deck.

Because this combo must be done so quick, this deck runs many mana rocks and tutors. But if you can't find the Buried Alive, don't stress, we have Gameplan 2.

Slow Combo

Deadeye Navigator + Mind Grind + Palinchron for a bajillion.

I chose Mind Grind as the mana sink because if the rest of the combo is stopped, it's still a helpful card on its own. (And mind you, if any part of the combo is extracted from your deck, they perform extremely well on their own).

This one is relatively slower, but very doable. Remember all the tutors I was talking about? One of them is Behold the Beyond, which conveniently tutors for 3 cards. And dumping your hand may even be a good thing if it's full of good creatures to eternalize (in case your combo is stopped).

You can have Deadeye Navigator enter the yard and be eternalized, but the Palinchron must be the original copy because it's getting blinked. Entomb would go for the Navigator.
