Creature (4)

Enchantment (2)

Instant (4)

Speed is the name of the game here. There are 3 different good end games in this deck. 1. Complete creature overrun. 2. CloudshiftKessig Malcontents combo. 3. FlingChampion of the Parish after it's been pumped.

There is lots of deck thin and mana ramp via Farseek, Borderland Ranger, Mentor of the Meek, and Avacyn's Pilgrim.

Creatures such as Champion of Lambholt and Champion of the Parish are invaluable. Getting them out early is a major game changer. Using Mask of Avacyn will help ensure they don't go anywhere either. Thraben Doomsayer and Mikaeus, the Lunarch along with Gather the Townsfolk and Increasing Devotion help with creature drop and pumping the Champions and Kruin Striker.

Last, but certainly not least, is Cloudshift. A simple card, but if used properly... one of the most important in the deck. Once you have 1 or more Champions and/or a Kruin on the field, using Cloudshift on cards like Borderland Ranger or Timberland Guide not only adds to the pump of your other creatures, but also allows you to re-use the abilities of the exiled card when it re-enters the battlefield. Not to mention the devastating Kessig combo I mentioned in the opening.

All in all this is a well rounded deck with multiple strategies that all tie in together neatly. Good deck thin, mana ramp, and draw, combined with low mana cost equal a consistent turn 5-7 win (4 with a perfect hand and draw) deck that will be a contender at any Friday Night Magic!
