Basically an aggro deck that looks to overwhelm the opponent. Been playing mainly a black white human deck that focused on champion. However, with rotation approaching, I figured I'd try something that may be a bit more rotation friendly.
Boros Elite
1 of 2 one drops that develops into a turn 3 3/3 with battalion.
Rakdos Cackler 2 of 2 one drops when unleashed is hitting for 2 on turn 2 at the latest. Not bad.
2 drop time!Imposing Sovereign I love this card. A walking
blind obediance
. Really slows down imposing decks stalling to activate battalion abilities of boros elite or get another hit in with cackler.
Rakdos Shred-Freak
and Ash Zealot both hitting for two with haste. So with either cackler or boros elite turn two has the potential for 3 to 4 DMG. And that's if you're not playing two more boros elite or cacklers.
3 drops! (the oh snap! Phase)Boros Reckoner how could he not be in a red white deck? He's got a bod. He's got a crazy ability. And if need be can go into first strike mode.
Chandra's Phoenix
flying haste that can be brought back from the dead just to hit them some more? Yes please and thank you. The evasion alone makes it a win.
Banisher Priest
there's no limit to what she can do! Got a k-hydra staring you down? Banish that mother counter! She has the ability to open up the field for a full on assault. She fits the bill of what we are after here.
Frontline Medic such an awesome card. Basically he goes down and next turn we are swinging for the fences like a-rod on steroids cause we got nothing to worry about with INDESTRUCTIBLE CREATURES!!!
6 drop!? (boom goes the dynamite phase)Aurelia, the Warleader yeah. It's overkill. It's expensive. But when you need that extra push over the herded if you manage to find this bomb then may god have mercy on their souls.
Here's where things get a little sketchy. With straight aggro decks I'm not good deciding what sorceries and instants make the cut but heres what I've settled on:
Mizzium Motars almost always gone be able to kill a creature with a 4kaboom. And overload opens up a whole new can of worms for the guy across the table.
Shock when the motars are a bit much. Plus it deals combat damage directly to the opponent fishing Chandra's Phoenix back out of the grave yard.
Warleader's Helix
4DMG and 4 life gain. Not bad. Plus the choice of hitting a creature or opponent. Gets my birdy back out of the ashes.
I know what you're thinking...because I'm thinking it too. Where are the boros charms!? Well, I don't have any. As soon as I do have them I'll be replacing two Mizzium mortars and the two helixs for 4 boros charms. The flexibility is something that would be super useful.
And finally the lands. Not much here. 7 mountains (because they're red)4 plains 4 sacred foundry3 cavern of souls ( yes they're rotating out, but I have them so might as well use them to cast all those humans)2 mutavault. They seem appropriate for an aggro deck. Never used them before but they seem interesting. Might make for some nice surprise battalions? Who knows.
Anyways, there's my flawed and over thought logic on my choices. Now I would love if you the reader would pick this to shreds. Help make it better, make me better. Any and all suggestions are openly welcomed and wanted! Thanks for checking out my deck. Appreciate all the feedback.
