Pretty simple, super low to the ground beat their face and burn the corpse
So, why 4 Militia Bugler? because it hits everything that isn't Tajic, Legion's Edge which is debatable as the best card in the deck but I digress, why 3 Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice well, its a card that should read "kill me in 3 turns or lose the game" because she is extremely powerful and I think shes one of the problem cards in standard (problem cards being the must answers like scarab god and Rekindling Phoenix were)
Why fanatical over the other 1 drops? Well I figured its 1 power meaning it can be mentored by our 2 drop, and it gets in damage turn 1, and u can also throw it at someones face for that last point. You are pretty much guaranteed the value of one damage unlike Skymarcher Aspirant or Dauntless Bodyguard, I also chose the bodyguard over the aspirant because late game it can protect your Tajic or Aurelia.
I wanted to pack more 1 drops but weirdly enough the first thing to go would probably be Militia Bugler because its the least aggressive but the near guaranteed creature just seems too good and I'm hesitant to remove any burn, also Im a little heavy on 3 drops but I think that's probably fine.
Why Viashino Pyromancer? it practically has haste and I wanted another 4 of two drop, and its the best I came up with and it doesn't seem too bad on curve, Tajic can always pump it
WHY NO Goblin Chainwhirler??? I could just be wrong here but I feel like I don't wanna deal with the triple red cost, it feels not as good against important decks without the mage by his side to make it -1-1 counters. I'm definitely seeing that the only important creatures with 1 toughness are either in our own deck, or are Stitcher's Supplier and
lanowar Elves
. As well as the 3 drop slot is tight and hes hard to mentor, however the aurelia+whirler seems completely disgusting and Im going to get tired of seeing that curve happen against me constantly.
Why no Swiftblade Vindicator main? Because without a mentor trigger it does nothing but trade with every other 2 drop and dies to everything including whirler and so I believe the card is bad.
Sideboard: Remorseful Cleric because everyone is nutting over these BG (Maybe X) decks and the undergrowth mechanic is good, and so is supplier
Path of Mettle
Hits our opponents 1 toughness creatures and can flip pretty easily on turn 3-4 and is great at grinding out games that go a little longer than you'd like
Lightning Mare fore control and Shield Mare for aggro
Why Baffling End instead of any other exile removal? Well because Seal Away is a reactive card, it has to target a creature that is already tapped and thus isn't blocking, yes baffling is sorcery speed but I can get rid of their big dumb creature that is blocking my way, the convoke 4 drop is great but I don't wanna tap my creatures out for a reason that isn't them attacking, its just not aggressive and then Ixalan's Binding is also not as aggressive. Its all about aggression.
